"TITCHMARSH, a parish in the hundred of Navisford, county Northampton, 2 miles E. of Thrapston, its post town. The village is situated near the Peterborough railway. The soil consists of clay and gravel. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough, value £782. The church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, or to St. Mary, contains monuments to the Pickering and Creed families. The parochial charities produce about £210 per annum, of which £165 belong to Pickering's and Boyd's almshouses.
