"BRAUNSTON, a parish in the soke of OAKHAM, county of RUTLAND, 2 miles (S. W.) from Oakham, containing 423 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Hambleton, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
