ACTON ROUND: Geographical and Historical information from the year 1831.

" ACTON ROUND, a parish in the hundred of STOTTESDEN, county of SALOP, 3 miles (S.S.E.) from Much- Wenlock, containing 214 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford, endowed with £200 private benefaction, £400 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Vicar of Much Wenlock."
