"CHELMARSH, (Salop) on the W. side of the Severn, and S. of Bridgenorth, was heretofore the Lp. of the Mon'gomeries Earls of Shrewsbury, and in the R. of Edw. III. of Edmund Ld. Mortimer, Earl of March, who gave it to the convent of Wigmore."
