LINLEY: Geographical and Historical information from the year 1831.

"LINLEY, a parish within the liberty of WENLOCK, county of SALOP, 4 miles (N.W. by N.) from Bridgenorth, containing 96 inhabitants. The living is a rectory not in charge, united to that of Broseley, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas."
