"LLANSILIN, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Oswestry, partly in Chirk hundred, in the county of Denbigh. Soughton, the only township in Shropshire, contains 45 houses, 249 inhabitants. 5 miles south-west by west of Oswestry."
