A thin vein of copper has been found, but is not worked. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Hereford, value £65. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret. The parochial charities produce about £1 per annum. R. Scott, Esq., is lord of the manor."[Transcribed from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland 1868 by Colin Hinson ©2015]
