"GREAT BRADLEY, a parish in the hundred of Risbridge, in the county of Suffolk, 6½ miles to the N.E. of Haverhill, and 8 S. from Newmarket, its post town. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Ely, of the value of £407, in the patronage of the trustees of the Rev. W. S. P. Wilder. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, was entirely repaired in 1841. A considerable part of the parish belongs to St. John's College, Cambridge.
