"REDISHAM, a parish in the hundred of Wangford, county Suffolk, 4; miles N.E. of Halesworth, its post town, and 4½ S. of Beccles. The village, which is of small extent, is wholly agricultural. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Norwich, value £50. The church; dedicated to St. Peter, has a rich Norman doorway on the S. side. The parochial charities produce about £9 per annum, which goes to Leman's Sunday-school."
