Staffordshire 1861 Census Information

The census was taken on the 7th April 1861

• Archive CD Books have produced images of the Staffordshire 1861 census on CD available from Genfair

   

• Archive CD Books have also produced a supplement CD for the 1861 census of Places in Staffordshire that appear in the Derbyshire Registration Districts

   

• S & N Genealogy have produced images of the Staffordshire 1861 census on CD or DVD.

   

• Staffordshire 1861 census information is starting to appear online as part of the Free Census Project. The site is searchable and, as the name suggests, free. The status of the Staffordshire records can be found by searching here. Volunteers to help are very welcome.
