Staffordshire 1881 Census Information

The census was taken on the 3rd April 1881

• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS Church) have provided the 1881 England & Wales census index online in FamilySearch. From the home page choose "search", and select the 1881 census, one of the available databases. The census index is also available on CDROM from the LDS church. From the FamilySearch home page choose Order/Download products, search for "British Census" or "1881". The index is available to view in Family History Centres of the LDS Church, and many other libraries and record offices.
