St Jude's parish was formed on 10th August, 1869. The church, on the Tettenhall Road, was consecrated in April 1869.

Church History

St Jude's church was built in the Gothic Style, and consisted of a chancel, transepts, nave, aisles and a western turret with spire. The church was restored in 1878 and 1890. A bronze tablet was erected in 1922, on which is inscribed the names of the men connected with the parish who gave their lives in the First World War.
