"SUTTON-UNDER-BRAILES, a parish in the upper division of Westminster hundred, county Warwick, but formerly in Gloucester, 5 miles S.E. of Shipston-on-Stour, its post town. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol, value £313, in the patronage of the bishop. The church is dedicated to St. Thomas-a-Becket. The parochial charities produce about £1 per annum. There is a Sunday-school."
