The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
"BERWICK ST. LEONARD, a parish in the hundred of Dunworth, in the county of Wilts, 1 mile to the E. of Hindon, its post town, and 15 W. of Salisbury. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury, of the value, with the perpetual curacy of Sedgehill, which is annexed to it, of £375, in the patronage of J. Benett, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Leonard, and has been recently restored. The manor house, which was erected in the reign of James I., is now converted into a barn."
