Sacred to the Memory Of MARY the Wife of WILLIAM CRABTREE Mason of Beverley in this County and Daughter of JOHN & ANN CAMISH of this Parish She fell asleep in Christ the 28th Day of July 1803 Aged 57 Years. Dearest of Mothers! best Of friends farewell! May this plane Stone a Son's affection tell; Thro' life thy virtues were His joy and pride, In death His best example and His guide; Our social cares and hopes, alas! are oe'er, Thy love maternal cheers this heart no more. God's will be done, and may this keen felt smart. Prove the try'd furnice to refine my heart; When thus prepar'd, Lord, be it thy decree, To take me from this suff'ring world to thee. This Marble also Perpetuates the Memory Of the above WILLIAM CRABTREE fourth Son of WM. & RUTH CRABTREE of Sowerby in this County He fell asleep in Christ Janry 1801 aged 53 years.
