"FOLKTON, a parish in the E.R. of Yorkshire."
"FLIXTON, in the parish of Folkton, the E.R. of Yorkshire, to the N. W. of Hunamby; where a hos. was built, in the time of Athelstan, to shelter travellers from wolves, by which this country was then very much infested."
