A parish town, in Holme-Beacon division of Harthill; 2½ miles from Pocklington, 4 from Market Weighton, 13 from York. Population 177. The Church, a peculiar of the Dean of York, is a vicarage, dedicated to St. Martin, in the deanery of Harthill.
