| The Sum of £70 formerly vested in the Overseers of the Poor under the Name of Town Stock is at Present in the hands of the Church Lands Trustees on loan at 5 Pr. Cent. The interest is given to the Poor by the Minister and Churchwardens at Christmas adn Easter. £3.10s.0d

| In or about 1780. Mary Young gave Money for the purchase of a Cottage in Newbegin in Hornsea to be occupied by some poor Person or Persons of the Parish of Hornsea rent free; and for the purchase of a piece of Ground, to be let and the rent applied in maintaining and repairing the said Cottage & The Surplus, if any, to be applied for the purchase of Coals for the Occupants of the Cottage by Mrs. Youngs direction, the Vicar of Atwick for the time being is the Trustee of this Charity. --------- Two houses, four Cottages, & 70a.3r.12p of land all situate in the Parish of Hornsea, are vested in certain Trustees, called Feoffees, and the Rents applied in the repairs of the Church, as required, and in the ordinary disbursements of the Churchwardens for Church purposes the present Rents amount to £121. per Annum.
