PRESTON:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1829.

"PRESTON, is a populous and well-built village, in the parish of its name, in the same division and wapentake as Hedon, four miles north of that town. The parish contained, in 1821, a population of 947 persons, and the village 828 of that number, comprising 415 males and 413 females."
