SKIRPENBECK:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.
"SKIRPENBECK, a parish partly in the wapentake of BUCKROSE, and partly in the liberty of ST-PETER-of-YORK, East riding of the county of YORK, Tip% miles N.N.W. from Pocklington, containing 263 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of the East riding, and diocese of York, rated in the king's books at £14.7.85., and in the patronage of the Crown."
