| The Rev.ROBERT WARD by deed dated January 4th 1712 secured on property at STOKESLEY, a rent charge of Five Pounds per year for teaching ten poor children of the parish of SLINGSBY nominated by the Minister and Churchwardens, reading writing, arithmetic and the Church Catechism.
