15 May 1576. Debts &c. Residue to be divided into three parts. If my wife be with child, that
child to have all my said part of my goods as child's portion. If she be not with child, Richard, my
son to have that said part. Wife to have fermholde during widowheade. If Richard die before
coming of age, and my wife prove not with child, their two parts to go to the next of kin on my side.
To the mending of the hiewaies, 3s. 4d. Godchildren, 6d. each. To Margaret Woode, my sister,
one gimber hogge. To Alice Busse, my sister, one ewe. Ellin, my wife, and Richard, my son,
executors. Supervisors: - Henry Busse, of Rathwell, and John Earle, of Hellosbancke.
Witnesses: - Thomas Boitwesell, Richard Wilkinsone, Brian Bowthe, Robert Evers, and John
Braythwitte. 22 February 1576; Isabella Cawkroger was admitted tutor of Richard, son of Richard
Fawkoner.
