proved 19 January 1576. Body to be buried near my mother in the parish church-yard of Leeds.
After debts &c., are paid, residue of goods to be divided into three parts: one to the performance
of this will, one to James, my son, and to the child now in the wombe of my wife, equally. Alice,
my wife, James, my son, and the child now in the wombe of my wife, executors. Witnesses: -
Alex. Fascett, vicar of Leeds, James S., my father, Richard S., my brother, Lawrence Anstropp,
Edward Calbecke, Christopher Marton, John Pawson, James S., my brother, and Henry Kitchine,
with others. Christopher Marton and Lancelot Marton were admitted tutors to James and Isabel
Sikes, children of William Sikes, late of Leeds, 4 August 1580. - Act Book.
