Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.

"NIDD, a parish in the liberty of RIPON, West riding of the county of YORK, 1 mile E. from Ripley, containing, with Killinghall, 86 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Richmond, and diocese of Chester, rated in the king's books at £3. 6. 10., endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the King, as Duke of Lancaster."
