Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.
"TODWICK, a parish in the southern division of the wapentake of STRAFFORTH-and-TICKHILL, West riding of foe county of YORK, 8 miles S.S.E. from Rotherham, containing 210 inhabitants. The living is B rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of York, rated in the king's books at £6. 14. 7., and in the patronage of the Duke of Leeds. The church is dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul."
