In this village a small chapel was erected chiefly by the endeavours of the students of Rotherham College and the assistance of Dr. Bennett, 1824. The church meeting here has sometimes been united under the same pastorate as Melton. At present, and for many years past, it has been supplied by students.NOTES:-
