1860: Presbyterian Congregation at Dunmurry officially constituted at a service on 23rd March, with the very first minister ordained and installed on 21st November. The congregation met in a temporary church for the first three years
1863: Lease of land for church dated 29th May with the new church building opening on 22nd November
1895: The Church school, known as Trinity School, opens on south side of main road through village.
1903: The orginal rectangular Church building was extended, creating the T-shaped building which stands today. Also around about this time, the spire was added.
1930: Trinity School closed, being replaced by the opening of the new Dunmurry Public Elementary School (now Dunmurry Primary School) on the Glenburn Road.
1931: The former Tinty School building was renovated and extended to create a church hall, known as Trinity Hall.
1950: A major renovation of Church building wascompleted.
1967: A second, larger, church hall opened, known as the Davey Hall and connected to the existing Trinity Hall.
1971: The Trinty Hall (sometimes also used as a courthouse) was bombed towards the end of August and subsequently demolished.
1974: A new Trinity Hall was built on the same site, along with the adjacent Lynas Hall on the site of the old Minor Hall.
2006: The church building was sold and services move across the road and railway line to the hall site.
