In 1868, the parish of Inispollan contained the following places:

"GRANGE OF INISPOLLAN, a parish and a grange in the barony of Lower Glenarm, county Antrim, province of Ulster, Ireland, 3 miles N. of Cushendall, on the road from thence to Ballycastle. In the Roman Catholic arrangement Inispollan belongs to Culfeightrin; in the Protestant to the parish of Layd."
