In 1868, the parish of Kilconry contained the following places:

"KILCONRY, a parish in the barony of Bunratty Lower, county Clare, province of Munster, Ireland, 4 miles S.W. of Newmarket. The parish is 3 miles long by 2 broad, and forms the extremity of a peninsula running out between the mouths of the rivers Shannon and Fergus. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Killaloe, value with Iraddery, £509. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to those of Tomfinlough and Bunratty."
