The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Ballyfeard contained the following places:"BALLYFEARD, a parish in the barony of Kinnalea, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 5 miles to the N.E. of Kinsale. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Cork, Cloyne, and Ross, value £75, in the patronage of the bishop; but there is no church or glebe."
