"BALLYSPILLANE, a parish in the barony of Barrymore, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles from Middleton. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Cork, Cloyne, and Ross, value £108, in the gift of the Earl of Shannon."
