The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Garranekinnefeake contained the following places:

"GARRANEKINNEFEAKE, a parish in the barony of Imokilly, county Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles W. of Cloyne. Middleton is its post town. It lies on the E. of Cork harbour, facing Great Island, and contains the village of Rathcoursey, a bathing place. The living is a rectory appropriated to the bishop's mensal, in the diocese of Cloyne, value £59. Here is a Roman Catholic chapel united to those of Aghadda and Rostellan. There is also a Roman Catholic chapel at Saleen. Here are two private day schools."

"RATHCOURSEY, a village in the barony of Barrymore, county Cork, Ireland, 3 miles N.W. of Cloyne."
