The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Inchinabacky contained the following places:

"INCHINABACKY, (or Roxborough), a parish in the barony of Barrymore, county Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles N.W. of Castle-Martyr. Midleton is its post town. The surface consists of a fertile soil with abundance of limestone. It is strained by the Midleton rivulet on the S.W. The living is a rect, in the diocese of Cloyne, value with another, £115, in the patronage of the crown. The church was recently in ruins. The parish belongs to the Roman Catholic district of Midleton. Roxborough, Stumphill, and Castleview are the principal residences.
