In 1868, the parish of Liscleary contained the following places:

"LISCLEARY, a parish in the barony of Kerrycurrihy, county Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 5 miles S.E. of Cork, its post town. The parish is 4 miles long by 3 broad, and is situated on the bank of the Owinboy. The living is a suspended vicarage in the diocese of Cork, value £70, in the patronage of the bishop. There is a hedge-school."
