The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Titeskin contained the following places:

"TITESKIN, a parish in the barony of Imokilly, county Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles S.W. of Cloyne, its post town. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Cloyne, value £217, in the patronage of the crown. The church has long been in ruins. In the Roman Catholic arrangement this parish is united to that of Cloyne. In the old churchyard are a holy well and a rough structure representing the crucifixion."
