The congregation was founded in about 1650, with worship originally on two sites (in Knock and in Breda). In about 1720, a church was built on the present site and the two congregations merged. The current church building was opened in 1835
PRONI in Belfast holds microform copies of Baptism Registers (1816-1922); Marriage Registers (1816-1904), Communicants’ lists (1854-1893), Session Minutes (1859-1942), Committee Minutes (1870-1916) and maps of graveyard (1889 and 1947).
The Church has copies of all Baptisms from 1799 to 1921 and Marriages 1816 to 1921, which are available to buy (in the form of an Excel Spreadsheet for a cost of £10) from the congregation's Clerk of Session.
