"AGHIART, (or Ballinakilty), a parish in the barony of Killian, in the county of Galway, province of Connaught, Ireland, 5 miles to the N. of Castle-Blakeney. The soil is good, and well tilled. There is some reclaimable bog-. The living is a rectory united with that of Moylough, in the diocese of Tuam, Killala, and Achonry. Mount Bellew is the principal seat.
