"CLONAMERY, (or Cluin), a parish in the barony of Ida, in the county of Kilkenny, province of Leinster, Ireland. It lies along the banks of the Nore, and contains the village of New Ballygub. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ossory, Ferns, and Leighlin, value with Innistioge, £426, and constitutes the prebend of Clonamery, in the Cathedral of St. Canice.
