The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Clontubrid contained the following places:

"CLONTUBRID, a parish in the barony of Galmoy, in the county of Kilkenny, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles N.W. of Freshford. It is now annexed to the parish of Balleen, and contains an ancient well called Tubbrid-na-Draoith."
