ROSCONNELL

In 1868, the parish of Rosconnell contained the following places:

"ROSCONNELL, a parish in the baronies of Fassadining, county Kilkenny, and Clarmallagh, Queen's County, province of Leinster, Ireland, 1½ mile S.W. of Ballynakill, its post town. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ossory, value with Attanagh £408, in the patronage of the bishop. It is united to Ballyragget in the Roman Catholic arrangement. There is a school."
