In 1868, the parish of Ballynaclogh contained the following places:"BALLYNACLOGH, a parish in the barony of Coonagh, in the county of Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles from Pallasgrean. The soil is good, and limestone is abundant. The living is a rectory united to that of. Kilcornan, in the diocese of Limerick, Ardfert, and Aghadoe.
