The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Emlygrennan contained the following places:

"EMLYGRENNAN, a parish in the baronies of Clanwilliam and Coshlea, counties Tipperary and Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 4 miles E. of Kilmallock. The soil is generally good. The living is a suspended rectory in the diocese of Limerick. The collegiate church, which stood here, was pulled down in 1641.
