In 1868, the parish of Ballyboys contained the following places:"BALLYBOYS, a parish, incorporated with Ballymascanlan, in the barony of Lower Dundalk, and county of Louth, in the province of Leinster, Ireland, 3 miles to the E. of Dundalk."
