The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Colman contained the following places:

"COLMAN, (or Cockman), a parish in the barony of Middlethird, in the county of Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles to the S.W. of Fethard. It is situated a little to the W. of the road from that place to Clonmel. The surface abounds in low hills. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Cashel, value with St. John's, Cashel, £417, in the patronage of the crown. Cashel is the post town.
