The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Dangandargan contained the following places:

"DANGANDARGAN, a parish in the baronies of Clanwilliam and Middlethird, in the county of Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles S.W. of Cashel. Golden is its post town. It lies on the E. of the Suir valley, and on the road from Golden to Clonmel. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Cashel, value with Attrassel, £674, in the patronage of the bishop."
