"ISERTKIERAN, a par, in the bar. of Slieveardagh, co. Tipperary, prov. of Munster, Ireland, 8 miles N.E. of Fethard. It is 2 miles long by 1 mile broad. The surface consists of good land, and is traversed by the road from Fethard to Callen. The living is a rect. in the dioc. of Cashel, val. with Killenaule, £817, in the patron. of the bishop."
