The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kilmucklin contained the following places:

"KILMUCKLIN, a parish in the barony of Clanwilliam, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles N. of Tipperary. Newport is its post town. It is 1 mile square, and is traversed by the road from Tipperary to Cappaghwhite. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Cashel, appropriated to the bishop's mensal.
