The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kiltegan contained the following places:

"KILTEGAN, a parish in the barony of East Iffa and Offa, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles N.W. of Clonmel, its post town. It is 2 miles long and not a mile in breadth. The soil is good. The living is a rectory in the diocese Of Lismore, value with Donaghmore, £202, in the patronage of the bishop. Summerville is the chief residence.
