The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Lickfinn contained the following places:
"LICKFINN, a parish in the barony of Slievardagh, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles N.E. of Killinaule, its post town. It is about 1½ mile in length and the same in breadth. The living is united to the benefice of Killinaule [which see]. Lickfinn House is the principal residence of this locality."
