The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Mora contained the following places:

"MORA, a parish in the barony of Middlethird, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 4 miles W.S.W. of Fethard. Waterford is its post town. The soil is good. The road from Cashel to Clonmel traverses the interior. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lismore, value £194, in the patronage of the bishop. The church is in ruins. There is a day school."
